Never seen anything like it
Last night we had a thunderstorm that is commonplace in the midwest, but definitely an anomaly in California. There were thousands of lightning strikes in a matter of a couple of hours. Here are a few photos. At one point around 10:30 pm there was a huge strike that lit up the area and it looked like daylight.

I tried to get a shot of it, but I don't know my new camera well enough yet and my baby was crying for me. Would you mind telling me what settings you used to get these amazing pictures? Wish I had some more time to practice!
