Hometown couple

Last week I photographed Ceci and Chris' engagement portraits. Ceci and Chris are a couple who have lived here for quite a while-let's just say A LOT longer than me. I have been really looking forward to Ceci and Chris' portraits, as well as their wedding. Ali went to high school with both of them, so they have a lot of mutual friends. If you've read my blog, you know how much I LOVE to photograph Lincoln weddings. Lincoln is such a small community and so many relationships overlap each other. Chris and I were talking about that at their session. We said that even though Lincoln has grown substantially in the last decade, the social nucleus of this town definitely keeps that small town atmosphere alive...I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
Ceci and Chris are the cutest couple, and I KNOW their wedding is going to be fantastic! As I was doing the portraits I was watching the two of them together, and loved to watch how Ceci just melts when she looks at Chris. When she's around him, she just looks like being around him is the safest place in the world.
