Some fun things from this past week

Once the craziness of May weddings was over, it seems like I've been posting a lot of personal stuff, so I thought I'd continue that trend :) Last Friday night Ali came home to celebrate my birthday with us on Saturday. The youngest piece of my puzzle was missing because Cassie didn't arrive home from Europe until two days ago. I had so much fun last weekend! Ali arrived home around 7:00 Friday evening and one of my best friends from SJ drove up that afternoon to spend the evening with me (she had to leave Saturday to be back home for an annivesary party). I couldn't believe Jo drove up just for the night!! Ali had told me she was bringing home a special treat for me. She walked in with a box of cupcakes from a little place in Portland called "St. Cupcake"...mmmm,mmmm, DELISH!!!! Saturday we got up early and Ali made me my FAVORITE breakfast...Creme Brulee French Toast-YUUUUMMMMYYY!!!! We then took off and Ali and Katie treated my mom and me to pedicures--and boy did I need it after the remodel!

We then headed to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch where, by the way, they have the BEST croutons I've ever eaten!!! Sunday we celebrated (a week late) Father's Day by taking my husband and dad to Lucille's. Here's a few fun photos from the celebration weekend (yes, that is my crazy husband and dad with rib sauce all over their faces).

Cass arrived home safely from her trip to Europe. She had a great time, but has mixed feelings about being home. She's glad to be home with things that are familiar to her, but she misses her travels and all the new friends she made. Since her room is black, white and red I told her to get a great shot of the Eiffel Tower and I'd play with it in Photoshop to create a great poster for her. I had NO IDEA what she'd come home with! The photos she got are extraordinary!! These three photos are just a few I had to choose from (I had a difficult time narrowing it down), so this is the poster we designed for her room. I can't wait to hang it when it arrives next week, and I think the shots are better than the ones I've seen in the store!
