As I mentioned, I drove to San Jose last weekend to photograph Mary and James' engagement photos. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to Carmel while I was there. In the last two weeks I've been to Napa, Carmel and San Jose. One of the things that has struck me in recent weeks, is the beauty that I see on the roadside. Spring is one of my favorite times of the year when it comes to photography, so I wanted to make a conscious effort to document some of this beauty. Thinking about taking photos as I'm speeding down the freeway at 65 mph, definitely requires some thinking and planning. Not being afraid to pull to the side of the road, definitely helped my efforts. In the mix of photos, there's also a photo I did in Carmel of some of the beautiful architecture of the small shops in town. The last photo is from the flowering plum tree in my front yard.
Enjoy some springtime, even if it may be raining outside!
