Intimacy on a Thursday

I had quite an anomaly-an intimate wedding on a THURSDAY! It's been a long time since I've photographed a wedding this small (less than 15 people) and I don't think I've ever photographed a Thursday wedding. This wedding could not have been more perfect!! I had never met the bride and groom until yesterday. I met the groom about an hour before the wedding and I met the bride AFTER they were pronounced husband and wife! Maggie and Chris are stationed at an Air Force base out of state. They wanted an extremely intimate and private wedding with just their family and a few friends. I was honored to photograph their ceremony for them! Maggie's family is from this area and Chris' is from the midwest. They contacted me a few weeks ago about the possibility of me doing the wedding. However, I didn't even know until the other day whether or not I was going to get to do this for them; I sure am happy it worked out!!! They are the CUTEST couple and I could have spent all day with them!! Talk about photogenic!! Just look at the beauty I captured!!! I wish I would have been able to spend more than an hour with this couple and their family. Everyone was so sweet and it was very touching to see how emotional everyone was-ESPECIALLY the groom! :) Maggie is gorgeous and just as sweet as can be! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this time for the two of you! I hope we get to work together again when you come back in June!!! You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming months as you head back to the base (and possibly deployment) to serve our country!!!
